MUMTAZ Office
Pest Control & Cleaning Services in Abu Dhabi
MUMTAZ Abu Dhabi office in Mussafah: municipality-approved pest control, industrial cleaning and FM across the emirate. 3 ISO certifications. Call 800 688.
Our Abu Dhabi office is in Mussafah, which puts us in the emirate’s industrial centre rather than on the island. From there we cover Abu Dhabi city, Khalifa City, Al Reem and Saadiyat, Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Musaffah and the ICAD zones, Al Ain and the Western Region on scheduled work. MUMTAZ holds Abu Dhabi Municipality pest control approval and is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
The Abu Dhabi workload leans commercial and industrial: warehouse and factory cleaning, pest programmes for food and logistics operators, facilities management contracts, and manpower supply. Residential work runs alongside it across the villa and apartment communities. Ocean Oilfield is a MUMTAZ client.

Our Abu Dhabi Office
Mussafah, ICAD and the industrial belt
Mussafah and the ICAD zones are the centre of gravity for our Abu Dhabi work. These are workshops, warehouses, factories, fabrication yards and the labour accommodation that supports them, and the work is correspondingly heavy: floor degreasing where oil and swarf have been ground in for years, high-level cleaning of roof structure and racking, and rodent and insect programmes across sites with constant vehicle movement and open doors.
Oil and gas support facilities add their own requirements. Yards, workshops and support bases work to stricter permit and HSE regimes than general industry, and a contractor who cannot produce method statements, risk assessments and technician documentation on request does not get through the gate. Our ISO 45001:2018 system exists for exactly this kind of site.
The other Mussafah pattern is labour accommodation. High occupancy, shared kitchens and shared bathrooms make these buildings demanding, and as in Sharjah the durable answer is treatment combined with a housekeeping and waste regime the operator will maintain rather than treatment alone.
Island, suburbs and the wider emirate
On the island and in the newer communities — Al Reem, Saadiyat, Khalifa City, Al Raha, Mohammed Bin Zayed City — the work is closer to Dubai’s residential mix: deep cleaning, AC duct and coil work, water tank cleaning, ant and cockroach control, and condensation-driven mould in apartments and villas. Towers here generally require contractor registration and a work permit from building management, which we arrange before attending.
Abu Dhabi is geographically large, and that shapes what is realistic. Work in Al Ain and the Western Region is scheduled rather than attended at short notice, and we would rather agree a sensible date than promise a visit we cannot staff. For sites out there, a recurring programme is usually more effective and better value than reactive call-outs, simply because the travel is planned into it.
Contracts, documentation and how work is bought here
A larger share of our Abu Dhabi work is contracted rather than reactive, which reflects the client mix: industrial operators, food and logistics businesses, government-linked facilities and FM buyers who need documented programmes rather than call-outs. That changes what matters. The service visit is the easy part; the records, the trend data and the ability to produce a method statement on request are what the client is actually buying.
For those clients we run scheduled programmes with a numbered site plan, per-visit reports, and periodic review of whether the cycle is right. Where cleaning and pest control are both needed — which in warehousing is most of the time — taking both from one contractor means one HSE file and one set of reports that reference each other, rather than two suppliers whose paperwork does not meet.
Manpower supply and facilities management contracts also feature more heavily here than in the northern emirates, covering housekeeping teams, support staff and preventive maintenance. Sites that start with a pest programme frequently expand into these, which is straightforward when it is the same company and the same account contact.
Procurement in Abu Dhabi tends to ask for documentation up front: trade licence, ISO certificates, municipality approval, insurance, technician documentation, method statements and risk assessments. We keep that pack current so a tender response is not delayed while paperwork is assembled.
