From Al Mumtaz to MUMTAZ
Same trusted team since 2006, same license, three specialized divisions.
MUMTAZ Integrated Services Group began in 2006 in Sharjah, when our founder Saleem Mookada Aliyar signed the company's first structured pest control contract for the Al Nahda residential project. It was a small contract by today's standards — but it set the template for everything that followed: show up, do the work properly, document it, and come back.
Word travelled fast through Dubai's villa communities. Arabian Ranches, The Springs, Emirates Hills, The Meadows, and Jumeirah Islands became some of our earliest and most loyal client bases — homeowners who needed a pest control and cleaning partner they could trust season after season, not a one-time call-out service.
As our reputation grew, so did the scope of our work. Today MUMTAZ is one of the few facilities groups in the UAE offering dedicated marine and offshore support — pest control and cleaning programmes for dry docks, marine yards, and offshore rigs — alongside our core residential, commercial, and industrial business across all seven emirates.

2006
Founded in Sharjah
Al Mumtaz Building Cleaning & Pest Control opens in Sharjah and signs its first structured pest control contract for the Al Nahda residential project.
2007
Cleaning Services Introduced
Professional cleaning services are added, extending the company beyond pest control into full hygiene programmes for homes and businesses.
2012
Manpower Supply Launched
MUMTAZ launches manpower supply solutions, providing trained support staff — office boys, porters, cleaners — to clients across the UAE.
2018
Dubai Branch Established
Operations expand into Dubai, bringing MUMTAZ's pest control, cleaning, and manpower services to one of the region's most demanding markets.
2020
Abu Dhabi Expansion
MUMTAZ establishes Abu Dhabi operations and formally structures its facilities management division, unifying soft and hard FM under one team.

When we opened our doors in Sharjah in 2006, we were a building cleaning and pest control company — and our name said exactly that. Over twenty years, our clients asked us for more: facilities management, manpower solutions, deep cleaning programmes, AMC contracts covering entire building portfolios. We grew into an integrated services group serving names like Landmark Group, GEMS Education, and Gulftainer across all seven emirates.
The name "Al Mumtaz Building Cleaning & Pest Control" no longer described who we had become. So we evolved it.
What "Mumtaz" Means
Mumtaz (ممتاز) is Arabic for "excellent" — "the distinguished, the best." It's the word a teacher writes on a perfect exam. It's what our founders promised clients in 2006, and it's the one part of our identity we would never change.
